What's New...
Cadets:
Cadets will meet at the Bowling Green Warren County Regional Airport on Monday evenings from 1830-2030 until further notice. The airport is centrally located off of Scottsville Road. Simply turn onto Woodhurst Drive between Haverty's and Edmonton State Bank and fillow the road and park in the parking lot closest to the largest hanger (back right hand corner) against the primeter fenceline. One of our senior members will be glad to escort you through the gate and to the hanger for the meeting.
The color guard presentation of colors at the 27 August Hot Rods game was excellent. Thanks to the cadets who attended and not only manned the display/information table, but also walked through the crowd distributing information flyers to the crowd of 6,290 (the second largest crowd to attend a ballgame). A great deal of interest was generated during this event. It was a recruiting success.
We would like to thank the Senior Members that worked on the trailer this past Saturday and cleaned it out: Ltc Duvall, Ltc Wickliff, Ltc Bryant, Maj Seaman, Cpt Robinson, Cpt Decker, Lt Roark, SM Sims, and Cadets Decker, Pendleton, and Manning.
Ltc Duvall is working to get us another building to be located at the airport. We will let you know when we get more information.
