If you have any questions or would like assistance feel free to call any of our staff personnel, we are here to help you have a good AE program for your units.
AEO need to submit Activity Reports and POAs by the end of December 2009.
All AEO's will be receiving the Wing Plan of Action (POA) for 2009 and last year's activity report. Please take the time to review the POA this will give you an idea of the goals the AE staff is working towards. Also, make note of how we are scored in the activity report from last year. If you are active in aerospace education throughout the year, we get scored for the different activities that we are involved in, ex. presentations to other groups, we get more points for our AE program.
KY WING AE 2009
We welcome suggestions for the new year.
It will soon be time to laying out the plans and programs for 2009. If you have an idea, an interest, or a suggestion for an AE program or AE effort for the coming year, now is the time to suggest it. Please take the time to drop us an email and give us an idea of what you would like to see for our AE program in 2009. Among the ideas being considered are:
Amateur Radio Astronomy Telescope (RADIO JOVE)
Sun Spotter Solar Telescope (Wing)
Model Rocketry Program
Model Electric R/C Helicopter (Medium Size) with associated flight simulator (One per Cadet Squadron and interested Composite Squadron)
Model Powered Gliders / Unpowered Gliders
AE Books for Donations to Local School Libraries by Local Units
These are for starters and if AEOs express interest we will look to follow up on these, but if there is little or no interest then likely some of these will fall by the way side. Let us hear from you with a simple email.
Brad Wallace, Capt. CAP
